Poziv za studente – odlazak u SAD na ljetnji STEAM program
Kroz dugogodišnju suradnju PRONI Centra i američkih studenata, koji tijekom studiranja dolaze na studijski posjet u RH i u naše urede, zamolili su nas da podijelimo otvoreni Poziv za studente koje zanima STEAM istraživanje, a tijekom ljeta 2024. boravili bi u mjestu Santa Cruz. We are excited to announce that the SIP 2024 intern application is now open!As part of our commitment to supporting students, we would like to offer dedicated sessions for you and your students to learn more about the program and how to apply.If you are interested in scheduling a session, please fill out this form and provide your preferred dates and times for this month. We will do our best to accommodate your schedule and ensure that the sessions are informative and engaging.
We will be accepting intern applications from Friday,March 1 to Sunday, March 31 at 11:59 PM PDT, and we welcome your incredible students to apply. Last year, 394 students participated in SIP 2023! We request that you share this opportunity with any students who may be interested in engaging in critical thinking in the context of STEAM research at UC Santa Cruz this summer.
Please take a look at the attached flyer for an overview of SIP 2024. You can also visit our website to learn more about the program. We encourage you to explore our upcoming 2024 research projects, across 26 different subject areas. We will continuously update the list as we receive more projects.We’ll be hosting weekly application workshops throughout March. These sessions will guide interns through the application process, provide one-on-one support via breakout sessions, and include a Q&A segment. We encourage you to direct students to these open sessions.

Additionally, The SIP Team will be tabling at the Golden State Warriors STEAM Fest, happening Sunday, March 10, 2024, from 12:30 PM to 4 PM. We have additional tickets available and would love for you to join us! It’s a fantastic opportunity to learn more about our program and engage with the community. Feel free to register not just for yourself but also share this opportunity with students interested in attending the event at the Warriors Stadium. The STEAM Fest will feature a variety of student organizations and opportunities. Tickets are limited. Please RSVP here.
